List of Unreal Engine (UE4) Based PS4 games
There are many different game engines. However, only a few are so popular and known as the Unreal Engine 4. Since its introduction in 2014, it has been used in many different games. Not only FPS but also RPG, stealth games, MMORPG, etc. One of the main reasons for the popularity of Unreal Engine 4 is that it is available for free to anyone who wants to use it as a tool for developing games.

1. BATMAN ARKHAM SERIES
The Batman: Arkham Series is an action-adventure video games series created on UE4 platform based on DC Comics character Batman. The series is developed by two developers, Rocksteady Studios and WB Montreal.
Batman: Arkham Asylum is the first game from the Batman: Arkham series. It was designed by Rocksteady Studios and released in 2009 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. In 2016, the game was remastered for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the video game Batman: Return To Arkham, which included both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.
In June 2016 at E3 2016, it was announced that Rocksteady was developing Batman: Arkham VR for the PlayStation VR, which released in October 2016 and it was released for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on April 25, 2017.
2. CONCRETE GENIE
Concrete Genie is a single-player action-adventure game based on UE4 platform set to release in the third quarter of 2019. This game is published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by PixelOpus. The story of this game takes place in a small town called Denska, which was mostly abandoned and polluted. A boy named Ash regularly draws in his notebook. A group of hooligans steals the book, snatches pages and scatters them all over the city. Ash goes on a search to restore his pages. In the course of this quest, he finds a brush that can bring his creations to life. Ash must overcome the bullies and bring life back to his hometown.
3. THE LAST REMNANT
The Last Remnant is the first Square Enix game to use the Unreal Engine. This game is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square Enix. It was released worldwide for the Xbox 360 in November 2008, and for Microsoft Windows in March 2009. The game is set in a fictional world divided into multiple city-states inhabited by four different species and whose past includes conflicts over "Remnants", magical artifacts of varying forms. The player controls Rush Sykes, a young man searching for his sister during the war. It features a unique battle system in which the player commands multiple groups, or "unions", of characters rather than individual units.
4. DAYS GONE
Days Gone is an action-adventure video game created by SIE Bend Studio and released by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 on April 26, 2019. She is in the post-apocalyptic state of Oregon two years after the global pandemic, a former criminal who has become a criminal. -Drikon St. John discovers the possibility that his wife Sarah is still alive, which causes the Deacon to look for her. “Days past” are played out from the point of view of a third party in which a player can explore the open-world environment. Players can use firearms, melee weapons and improvised weapons, and can also use stealth to protect against hostile people and cannibalistic creatures known as Freakers. The main game mechanic is the Deacon motorcycle of the Deacon, which is used as the main means of movement of the player, as well as mobile equipment.
Production of Days Gone began in early 2015. CTO Christopher Reese stated that Bend Studio wanted her to "push the PS4 to where it never was." The game was first introduced by Sony on their 2016 E3 panel. Then Reese announced that the game would use the Unreal Engine 4 and would be "a very strong narrative."
Widely anticipated and originally scheduled to launch in 2018, Days Gone was postponed several times and received mixed reviews from critics who praised Sam Whitwer's open world, gameplay and performance, although the story and lack of character development were criticized.
5. FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE
Final Fantasy VII Remake is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4. Split across multiple releases, the first part is scheduled for March 3, 2020. The game is a remake of the 1997 PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII, following mercenary Cloud Strife as he and eco-Terrorist group AVALANCHE battle against the corrupt Shinra megacorporation and the rogue former Shinra soldier Sephiroth. Gameplay is planned to combine real-time action similar to Dissidia Final Fantasy with other strategic elements.
The remake was announced following years of rumors and fan requests. Key staff members returned to help with Remake: original character designer Tetsuya Nomura returned as both director and main character designer, original director Yoshinori Kitase acted as producer, and Kazushige Nojima returned to write new material. Due to the scale of the project, the team decided to release Remake as multiple games so no original content would be cut. They also decided to add new content and adjust the original character designs to balance between realism and stylization.
6. HIDDEN AGENDA
Hidden Agenda is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective. The player takes control of homicide detective Becky Marney and district attorney Felicity Graves, both of whom are involved in the case of a serial killer known as The Trapper. The game features quick time events that determine the outcome of the story, including a character's death or survival. With the PlayLink feature, others may join the game to vote for a specific decision to be made, using their Android or iOS smartphones. In competitive mode, one player will at some point receive a secret objective, or Hidden Agenda, which is intended to create conflict between the players as they try to prevent it from happening.
